The match was Davies' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Laila Ingram , who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Chiefland pushed their record up to 6-4 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Cedar Key, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chiefland will face off against Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cedar Key, they will head out on the road to face off against Ocala Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
