The Trinity Christian Warriors entered their tilt with the East Hardy Cougars with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Trinity Christian snuck past East Hardy with a 50-45 victory on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Trinity Christian also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, East Hardy had strong showings from Brooklynn Tinnell, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds, and Chloe Miller, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 64.4% of East Hardy's points, marking the 15th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Trinity Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for East Hardy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-10.
Trinity Christian will look to defend their home court on Monday against Conotton Valley at 7:00 p.m. As for East Hardy, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Frankfort at 5:00 p.m. on January 27th. Frankfort is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
