Softball Recap: Kingstree Takes a Loss

Kingstree was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to the Manning Monarchs. One positive for the Blazers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Harmony Mosley was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing three bases while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Kingstree's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Manning, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Looking ahead, Manning will venture away from home to face off against Lakewood at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kingstree will be paying especially close attention to Manning's game: after Manning faces off against Lakewood, they'll take on Kingstree again at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
