Volleyball Recap: Young Women's Leadership Academy Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Young Women's Leadership Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Poteet Aggies on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cardinals also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2021.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Young Women's Leadership Academy took both sets by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0.

Young Women's Leadership Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Poteet, they are on a 21-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Young Women's Leadership Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Holmes on the 16th. As for Poteet, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Brackenridge on the 16th.
