After having lost a blowout to Wall in their previous game, Lyman was happy to find some success on Friday. Lyman took their game against Kadoka 30-22. That result is just more of the same for Lyman, who also won the last time these teams played.
Kadoka's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Marcus Herber, who picked up 73 yards on the ground and accumulated 165 passing yards. In fact, with 12 tackles Herber was a force on both sides of the ball. Additional support came from defensive powerhouse junior Kaelan Block, who racked up 10 tackles.
The win got Lyman back to even at 1-1. The defeat dropped Kadoka's record to 1-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Lyman are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Jones County/White River next week at 7:00 PM. As for Kadoka, they will face off against New Underwood.
