The Knoxville Central Bobcats lost to the Halls Red Devils last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. Knoxville Central snuck past Halls with a 50-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Knoxville Central.
Halls' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jake Lane, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Workman, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and three blocks.
The win got Knoxville Central back to even at 12-12. As for Halls, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.
Knoxville Central will stay at home for another game and welcome Hardin Valley Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th. As for Halls, they and Anderson County will face off at 7:15 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Anderson County and Halls are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
