The High Point Christian Academy Cougars stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Caldwell Academy 65-16 at home. With High Point Christian Academy ahead 39-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Kylie Torrence was her usual excellent self, scoring 23 points. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Townes, who scored ten points.
High Point Christian Academy pushed their record up to 17-3 with that win, which was their 19th straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31.68 points. As for Caldwell Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Point Christian Academy will challenge Calvary Day School at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calvary Day School will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 428th, while High Point Christian Academy is ranked 13th). As for Caldwell Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Greensboro Day School at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
