After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Belleview, Citrus was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They never let the Weeki Wachee Hornets get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. With that win, the Hurricanes brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
Bryce Rosier made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with four RBI and two runs. Those runs marked the first that she has scored this season.
In other batting news, Citrus let Makaila Anderson and Maddy Luider run wild.
