The Creekview Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a tough 77-53 defeat at the hands of Reedy. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Creekview in their matchups with Reedy: they've now lost four in a row.
Reedy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jackson Langford led the charge by going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 1 assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Ford, who scored 16 points.
Creekview now has a losing record at 9-10. As for Reedy, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-13.
Creekview will be playing at home against Newman Smith at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Newman Smith presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Creekview in Texas (Newman Smith is ranked 119th, while Creekview is ranked 575th). As for Reedy, they will head out on the road to face off against Frisco at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
