Bellville is 2-8 against Royal since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Bellville Brahmas will head out on the road to challenge the Royal Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Bellville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1041st, while Royal is ranked 482nd).
Last Tuesday, Bellville lost to Needville on the road by a decisive 50-32 margin. Bellville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Royal entered their tilt with Sealy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Royal breezed by Sealy at home to the tune of 64-35 on Tuesday. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Royal had established a 27 point advantage.
Bellville has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Royal, they pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home.
Bellville took a serious blow against Royal in their previous matchup back in January, falling 70-32. Can Bellville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
