On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ava Messina, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Lainey Vasil, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.
Cambria Heights now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Northern Cambria, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.
