The Kennedy Crusaders won the last time they faced the Juarez Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Kennedy came out on top against Juarez by a score of 57-45.
Kennedy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Patryk Baliczek, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds. It was the first time this season that Baliczek scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vincent Carrero, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Juarez, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will take on Chicago Washington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Illinois (Chicago Washington is ranked 566th, while Kennedy is ranked 557th). As for Juarez, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Cristo Rey Jesuit at 4:30 p.m.
