Sundown is 6-0 against Post since December of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sundown Roughnecks will look to defend their home court against the Post Antelopes at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Sundown came up short against Ropes and fell 47-37. Sundown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Aria Hogan, who scored 13 points along with six blocks. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Allie McCormick, who scored 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Post's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by New Home at home and fell 64-10. Post has not had much luck with New Home recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Sundown's loss dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Post, they bumped their record down to 3-19 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.
Everything came up roses for Sundown against Post in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 63-21 win. With Sundown ahead 38-7 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
