The Nantucket Whalers will be playing at home against the Case Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Nantucket fell victim to Bristol-Plymouth RVT's stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a tough 21-0 defeat at the hands of the Craftsmen. Nantucket has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Case beat Millis 28-15 on Thursday. That's two games straight that Case has won by exactly 13 points.
Case's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jack Orton, who threw for 155 yards and three touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Nathan Wood was another key contributor, rushing for 87 yards and a touchdown.
With Nantucket's defeat and Bristol-Plymouth RVT's win, both teams now sport identical 3-6 records.
Everything came up roses for Nantucket against Case when the teams last played back in October of 2018 as the team secured a 34-7 win. Does Nantucket have another victory up their sleeve, or will Case turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
