The Sumner Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 26 points or more this season. They blew past King's, posting a 59-32 win on the road. The victory was just business as usual for Sumner, who after six games remain undefeated this season.
Lainee Houillon continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. Kessa Nohr was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Sumner's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for King's, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Sumner will be home for the holidays to greet Eisenhower at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. King's will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake City at 6:30 p.m. on December 27th.
