Basketball Recap: Great Plains Lutheran Piles Up the Points Against Tri-State Co-Op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah]

A well-balanced attack led Great Plains Lutheran over Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers blew the Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] Tigers out of the water with a 64-23 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 24 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Great Plains Lutheran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abby Kjenstad, who went 10 of 18 on her way to 23 points. The dominant performance gave Kjenstad a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Katherine Prahl, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 10 points along with eight assists and three steals.

The victory was the third in a row for Great Plains Lutheran, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 41.7 points. As for Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah], their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
