The Unity Christian Lions extended their postseason success on Friday against the Oakwood Christian Eagles. They really took it to the Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-35 victory on the road. Unity Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Unity Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anna Grace Wells, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wells has scored all season. Camryn King was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
The win (which was Unity Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Oakwood Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.
Unity Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Oakwood Christian also has no future games currently scheduled.
