Screven County strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against the Jenkins County War Eagles as they made off with a 35-14 victory. This was payback for the Gamecocks, who suffered a 34-7 loss the last time these two teams met.
Screven County was led to victory by AB Hilton and Demarko Ward. Hilton rushed for 188 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.5 yards per carry, while Ward rushed for 78 yards and three scores. Ward really tore up the turf during one magnificent 78-yard run.
