The Mullen Mustangs will face off against the Lewis-Palmer Rangers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mullen will be strutting in after a win while Lewis-Palmer will be coming in after a defeat.
On Thursday, Mullen was able to grind out a solid victory over Pine Creek, taking the game 7-3.

Jake Clark looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2025.
At the plate, Henry Christy was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Gavin Marsh, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Niwot on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 4-3. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Jake Provencio was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off nine hits.
On the hitting side, Charlie Lendt made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Fydenkevez, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Lewis-Palmer now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mullen, their win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.
