The Galloway Scots were the 73-36 winner over the Hebron Christian Lions when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Galloway was outmatched by Hebron Christian on the road and fell 71-35. Galloway was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-20.
Despite the loss, Galloway saw an underclassman step up: Ben Howery scored 9 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Vaughn Murphy, who scored 12 points.
The last time Galloway won on the road was back last Friday. Having now lost four straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 2-10. As for Hebron Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Galloway will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Atlanta Classical Academy at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Hebron Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lambert at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Lambert's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six contests.
