After only two runs in their last matchup, Brawley made sure to put some runs up on the board against Central on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 10-7. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sergio Garcia and Tate Preece did most of the damage at the plate: Garcia went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Preece went 3-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Those two triples gave Preece a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jackson Brummet, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Brawley's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

Brawley will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
