While Brewer might've come up empty on Tuesday, Colton Ryals wasn't going down without a fight. Ryals turned in nothing short of a gem, not allowing a single earned run over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Even though Ryals couldn't lead Brewer over Azle, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bears have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since March of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
