Big Sandy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Seth Green led the charge by scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Cagle, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Big Sandy's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Gleason, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Big Sandy will head out on the road to face off against Hughes at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Gleason, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West Carroll comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
