The last time they met, Lower Brule were the 54-46 winner over Hill City. This time around? They had no such luck. Lower Brule took a serious blow against Hill City on Friday, falling 14-67. The state rankings had actually given Lower Brule a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more. The game pushed Lower Brule down to 3-4 and pulled Hill City up to the reverse at 4-3.
Next week Lower Brule take on Parkston at 2:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup. Hill City will take on Kadoka at home at 6:00 PM. Hill City will be strutting in after a victory while Kadoka will be stumbling in from a defeat.
