Even though the Anderson HomeSchool SONS scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, Noble-Whitley Warriors still came out on top. Noble-Whitley Warriors snuck past Anderson HomeSchool with a 66-60 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Noble-Whitley Warriors.
Leading Noble-Whitley Warriors to victory were Caidyn Berna and Colt Kirkpatrick. Berna dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds, while Kirkpatrick scored 31 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Berna's trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Shad Gaff was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Anderson HomeSchool's loss came despite strong showings from Kailani McCloud and Matthew Eaks. McCloud dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds, while Eaks went 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and 3 assists. McCloud hasn't dropped below two blocks for eight straight games. Another player making a difference was Bennett Long, who scored eight points.
Noble-Whitley Warriors is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season. As for Anderson HomeSchool, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-11.

As for Anderson HomeSchool, Anderson HomeSchool and Columbus HomeSchool will face off at 7:40 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Columbus HomeSchool's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight matches.
