South Sevier is 0-10 against San Juan since September of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Rams will look to defend their home field against the Broncos at 7:00 p.m. South Sevier is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Friday, South Sevier didn't have too much trouble with Rich as they won 30-14. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Rebels are ranked second).

Bridger Bradshaw

10/03/25 @ Emery | 3 |

South Sevier got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bridger Bradshaw out in front who threw for 229 yards and four TDs on only 19 passes, and also rushed for 52 yards. Bradshaw has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Cooper Castle was another key player, picking up 132 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
South Sevier's run defense was locked in: Rich could only muster 3.2 yards per carry. While one picked up at least seven total tackles, Castle stood above the rest. He picked up 132 receiving yards and three scores. South Sevier's ground attack was stronger, having averaged five.
South Sevier's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, San Juan really took it to Emery for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-14 victory. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
South Sevier better focus on containing Jagger Nieves and Beau Yeomans as the pair were huge in San Juan's win. Nieves gained 279 total yards and three touchdowns, while Yeomans threw for 261 yards and five TDs while completing 85.7% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Tripp Palmer, who picked up 84 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.
South Sevier's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for San Juan, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. South Sevier has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 246.3 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like San Juan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 247.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
South Sevier took a serious blow against San Juan in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 71-7. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rams were down 34-7.
