On Saturday Chetopa take on Tyrone at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps national rankings project a close match.
Last Friday, Chetopa couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were completely outmatched, falling 14-54 to Oswego. Chetopa were down by 6-40 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Tyrone took care of business in their home opener. They made easy work of Turpin and carried off a 40-14 victory.
Tyrone's win lifted them to 1-0 while Chetopa's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Tyrone can add another positive mark to their record or if Chetopa can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Tyrone's step.
