Brentwood Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zariah Williams, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Williams continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Zaniah Williams was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Brentwood Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-16 record this season. As for John Paul II, their win bumped their record up to 11-15.
