First Colonial is a perfect 10-0 against Green Run since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will square off against the Stallions at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (First Colonial has three straight victories, Green Run has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While First Colonial's win against Kempsville wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots skirted past the Chiefs 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Patriots have posted since June 4, 2024.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Green Run's offense. They came up short against Landstown on Thursday, falling 12-0.

First Colonial's win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Green Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Everything went First Colonial's way against Green Run in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as First Colonial made off with a 13-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
