Union won against McLaurin  last Thursday with nine  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Monday. The Union Yellowjackets won by a  run and slipped past the Philadelphia Tornadoes  9-8. Winning may never get old, but Union sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Allawine was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Hayden Dolan was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with a  triple and  an  RBI.
 Union has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record  this season. As for Philadelphia, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with that  loss, which was their sixth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Union will have a chance to go back-to-back against Philadelphia: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
