Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pioneer). They enjoyed a cozy 44-29 win over the Logansport Berries on Saturday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Logansport's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kellen Cripe, who posted 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Cripe has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Rylinn Spradling was another key player, putting up seven points and four steals.

Pioneer's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Logansport, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Pioneer wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-38 loss against North Miami on the 10th. As for Logansport, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-35 defeat against Hamilton Heights on the 10th.
