Newbury Park had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27.8 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Westlake Warriors with a sharp 32-7 victory. Considering the Panthers have won nine games by more than 20 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Newbury Park's defense made their presence known, laying out Annabel O'Keefe three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Juliet Martin, Tiegan Radke, and Dani Jurado, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Newbury Park's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Westlake, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6.

Coming up, Newbury Park will challenge Agoura at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' defense better be ready for this one: the Chargers have averaged an impressive 29.5 points per game this season.
