The Twiggs County Cobras struggled with  threes on Tuesday (the East Laurens Falcons had 500% more) and sadly the final score reflected it. Twiggs County took a serious blow against East Laurens, falling  90-53. The  loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Twiggs County in their matchups with East Laurens: they've now lost four in a row.
 Twiggs County's loss  came despite strong showings from  Tykerrion Williams and  Rikenzel Jenkins.  Williams  scored 18 points, while  Jenkins  scored 13 points. Williams scored a full 34% of Twiggs County's points, the third time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Armarion Downing, who  scored 6 points.
 East Laurens' win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Rashund Washington Jr. , who  scored 27 points along with 7  blocks and 6  rebounds.  Tylan Snead was another key contributor,  dropping  a double-double on 16 points and 15  rebounds.
 Twiggs County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for East Laurens, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
 Twiggs County will head out on the road to face off against Bleckley County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Bleckley County knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Twiggs County likes a good challenge. As for East Laurens, they will be playing at home against Dodge County at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Dodge County will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
