Even though the Motivation Jaguars scored an imposing 59 points on Tuesday, the Parkway Northwest Hoyas still came out on top. Parkway Northwest took their match against Motivation 68-59. For Parkway Northwest, this counts as revenge for the 51-41 defeat Motivation walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Parkway Northwest's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jayden Gladden led the charge by scoring 23 points. Kahleem Jordan was another key contributor, scoring 20 points.
Parkway Northwest's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Motivation, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway Northwest will take on Parkway West at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Parkway West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 30 on Tuesday. As for Motivation, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Girard Academic Music Program at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
