With a playoff win on the line, Fairhope rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Robertsdale Golden Bears a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Pirates, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Fairhope has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-12 record this season. As for Robertsdale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-19.

Fairhope didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 5-3 loss against Daphne on the 29th. As for Robertsdale, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 14-3 defeat against Foley on the 29th.
