Abram Sherrin was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he gave up only one walk, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Ervey Quijada was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two triples, three runs, and one double. Those triples marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Braden Watson, who went 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
