The matchup between both teams wasn't particularly close, with Troy falling 53-37. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kiyah Baker, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Baker set a new season high mark in points with 11. Jadyn Almeida was another key contributor, scoring six points along with four steals.
Troy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Tippecanoe, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Troy will head out on the road to face off against Greenville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Greenville is ranked 495th, while Troy is ranked 492nd). As for Tippecanoe, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Xenia at 7:15 p.m.
