Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside Academy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the West St. John Rams a 20-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Rams recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Riverside Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-10. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for West St. John, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside Academy will head out to take on Brusly on Saturday. As for West St. John, they will venture away from home to square off against Varnado at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Rams' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
