The Sissonville Indians lost against the Poca The Dots back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Sissonville took a 51-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Poca. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Sissonville has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Sissonville lost, one person who can't be blamed is Max Moore. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with two steals. Bosten Larck was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six rebounds and two blocks.
This is the second loss in a row for Sissonville and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Poca, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
Sissonville will head out on the road to take on Lincoln County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln County is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Poca will take on Chapmanville Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Chapmanville Regional will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
