Chaparral never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Waco Lions 15-0. The Bobcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Aiden Hurst, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with six RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was David Lavalle, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

Chaparral has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games. As for Waco, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Chaparral wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-3 win against Belton on the 8th. As for Waco, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 16-0 defeat against Lake Belton on the 8th.
