Logan never let their opponents score on Friday. Everything went their way against the Westside Renegades as they made off with a 20-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Lucas Lambert and Zo Murphy. Lambert picked up 66 receiving yards and a pair of scores while Murphy picked up 102 receiving yards.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Logan's defense and their four sacks. Jack Ball was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Another thorn in Westside's side was Bentley Williamson, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made ten total tackles.
The victory made it two in a row for Logan and bumps their season record up to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Westside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
As of now, neither Logan nor the Renegades have any future games scheduled.
