There's no place like home for the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They took down Lynnwood 74-60 on Tuesday. Given Edmonds-Woodway's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Lynnwood is ranked 340th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Aiden Johansen, who scored 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of William Alseth, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Edmonds-Woodway now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lynnwood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Edmonds-Woodway will head out on the road to take on Shorewood at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Shorewood's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Lynnwood, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Marysville Getchell at 7:15 p.m. Marysville Getchell has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 421 points over their last six matches.
