NCSSM: Durham's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brayden Wilkins led the charge by scoring five points along with eight rebounds and five steals. Wilkins hasn't dropped below two steals for four straight games. Ethann Burkett was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six assists and five steals.
NCSSM: Durham's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Falls Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. NCSSM: Durham will take on East Wake Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully East Wake Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Falls Lake, they will head out on the road to challenge Franklin Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin Academy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games.
