The Bishop Fenwick Crusaders will head out on the road to square off against the Danvers Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bishop Fenwick is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
On January 5th, Bishop Fenwick lost to Cardinal Spellman on the road by a decisive 62-46 margin. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Bishop Fenwick has scored all season.
Danvers suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Monday. They had to suffer through a rough 71-44 loss at the hands of Peabody Veterans Memorial. Danvers has struggled against Peabody Veterans Memorial recently, as their contest on Monday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Logan Metivier, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Jack Scarpaci, who scored eight points.
Bishop Fenwick now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Danvers, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.
