Springstead made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Gainesville, but still couldn't quite topple them. The Springstead Eagles were the clear victor by a 4-0 margin over the Gainesville Hurricanes on Tuesday. Considering the Eagles have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Gainesville with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Tyler Siebe, Jack Ryan, Christian Gies, and Austin Stanina.

Springstead's victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1. As for Gainesville, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-3 record this season.

Springstead will challenge Leesburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Leesburg will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Springstead surely won't give up without a fight. Gainesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
