White Pine won the last time they faced Laughlin, and things went their way  on Friday too. The White Pine Bobcats walked away with  a   6-1  victory over the Laughlin Cougars. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for White Pine.

Maestes has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  a single  earned run in three consecutive pitching appearances. Maestes was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Maestes wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Dylan Cessford, who  went 1-for-4 with three  stolen bases and  an  RBI.
 White Pine pushed their record up to 12-1 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.8 runs per game. As for Laughlin, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record  this season.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White Pine will take on Awaken Christian at 1:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Laughlin, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mohave Accelerated at 3:30  p.m.  on April 16th.
