Even though the Miami Christian Victors scored an imposing 69 points on Friday, the True North Classical Academy Titans still came out on top. True North Classical Academy enjoyed a cozy  86-69 win over Miami Christian. Given True North Classical Academy's advantage  in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings  (they are ranked 60th, while Miami Christian is ranked 268th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 It was another big night for  Jasen Lopez, who  scored 38 points along with five  rebounds and five  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season.  Cj Gonzalez was another key contributor,  scoring 19 points along with six  rebounds and five  assists.
 True North Classical Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. As for Miami Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
 True North Classical Academy will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Archbishop McCarthy at 6:00  p.m.  on January 23rd. One thing working in Archbishop McCarthy's favor is that they have posted big  point totals  in their last seven matchups. As for Miami Christian, they will be playing at home against Calusa Prep at 7:30  p.m.  on Monday. Calusa Prep is coming into the  match on a four-game losing streak.
