The Natomas Nighthawks will be playing at home against the Colfax Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Natomas has seven straight wins, Colfax has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Natomas put the finishing touches on their 11th blowout victory of the season on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Valley 85-26 on the road. 85 seems to be a good number for Natomas as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Natomas' success was spearheaded by the efforts of Aeron Wallace, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds and three steals, and Manno Jenkins, who scored 17 points along with six assists and six steals. Wallace is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Harold Beckwith, who scored ten points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, things could have been worse for Colfax, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-32 loss to Twelve Bridges on Friday. Colfax has not had much luck with Twelve Bridges recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Natomas is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Colfax, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 17-10 record this season.
Natomas couldn't quite finish off Colfax in their previous matchup back in December of 2021 and fell 69-66. Will Natomas have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
