Apex is a perfect 10-0 against Green Hope since March of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Cougars will challenge the Falcons at 4:00 p.m. Green Hope took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Apex, who comes in off a win.
Apex took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Middle Creek, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars won by a run and slipped past the Mustangs 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since February 26th.

Audrey Mulaski spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Leah Kendall was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Lauren McMahon also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Green Hope didn't have quite enough to beat Green Level on Friday and fell 5-4. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Claire Phelps made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Ainsley Campbell, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Apex has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Green Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Apex has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Green Hope struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Apex beat Green Hope 12-8 in their previous meeting back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
