The Forest Lake Christian Falcons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 18th straight loss. They suffered a tough 74-49 defeat at the hands of Foresthill. Forest Lake Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-20.
Forest Lake Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Caleb Fenton and Brendan Hooper. Fenton dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds, while Hooper scored 18 points along with six rebounds. Hezekiah Schneider was another key contributor, scoring five points along with five assists.
Foresthill got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Austin Moore out in front who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Mercado, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Forest Lake Christian dropped their record down to 2-18 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. As for Foresthill, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season.
Forest Lake Christian will head out on the road to square off against the Saints at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Delta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Foresthill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. John Adams Academy is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
